Happy June 1st! Summer is coming! Hooray! Time for graduates, barbecues, birthdays and lots of celebrations just because it is summer! Here are a few more cards for you to look at.

Another challenge from the Cricut board

We started another challenge on Wednesday, May 20th. I didn't start on it until today since we have been dealing with the loss of our beloved Harley. I finally got this one done (we have three sketches this week) and here it is:

I finally tried using rick rack ... i've been wanting to do so and this card just felt like the place to start.

Thanks so much to everyone for all your kind wishes and sympathy for our loss of Harley. It is truly appreciated.

Love is in the Air!

Don't you just love weddings?! We do! Here are a few sample wedding cards. All the cards are dimensional meaning that they are not "flat" cards ... they all have multiple layers of paper and the images are raised off the card.

It's hard to see in this picture, but the dress and veil are both covered in "star dust" glitter. The gown appears to have beading on it. The flowers are also covered in glitter. There are four layers of paper and ribbon on each of the following cards. Sentiment inside of each card reads "Congratulations" in a beautiful script swirly font.

The gown, veil, flowers and bow are all glittered. This is a very cute card!

This is a very simple elegant card in black and white. The only sparkle on this card is the veil, her earrings and necklace and his buttons.

This card has lots of sparkle! The ribbons, flowers, bells, etc. all sparkle! Soft pinks on white make this an exceptional card.

Valentine's Day is February 14th!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we are busy making cards and layouts. Here are a few samples of our cards:

We use many sentiments from a very simple ... "Happy Valentine's Day!" to more eloquent verses such as ... "My heart to you is given – Oh, do give yours to me – We’ll lock them up together – And throw away the key! Happy Valentine’s Day!" If you have a special something that you want to say to that special someone, just let us know. We can put almost anything in a card ... write your own verse and make your card super special!

OMG!! It's 2009 already!

2008 was not a very good year for a lot of us. Kathy and I intend to keep our pricing low again this year to help out during these tough economic times. We are currently showing our cards, layouts, floral designs, etc. at the Artisan Green Market in Jupiter, Florida. Please do come by and see all our stuff and also check out the other great artists. This is an outdoor event held on the grounds of a nursery. It is a beautiful setting. The next event is on January 24th and we would love to see you there.
